I use a 522c Lowrance. How do I save a trail at the end of the day? Currently, I just leave them all on the home screen of my GPS but they're getting so thick they are becoming useless. How do I save just one-at-a-time so I can call it up later? Thanks.

I go menu/ menu/ my trails/ new trail/ that will stop the trail and start a new one. Then when back on the trailer or on the puter at home I rename the trail and make it invisible until I want it again.

Some tips on trails:
As mentioned above...go to menu/menu/my trails/new trail and name one DEFAULT. In the trail details change the number of points from 2,000 to 200. Set this trail as active and visible. This trail will write over itself after only 200 points which will keep your screen from being overly cluttered with useless lines.
Now, when you want to create a new trail for navigating a specific area of water you will go in and create another new trail and make it active. Once you've run through the specific area you want to save you need to stop the boat and go in and make your DEFAULT trail active again. This will deactive the new trail making it a "fixed length" with a specific start(where you selected new trail) and stop(where you stopped the boat and reactived DEFAULT). You can then uncheck the visible box if you like until you need that trail again for navigation purposes.
