thanks for all the input. I went ot Academcy tonight and played with the Curado adn the STX. The Curado felt the best of the two. I know its hard to get a feel in the store but I like to play with the stuff before I buy it anyway. It looks like two new Curado's are going to be finding a new home.

I wanted to follow up on this post. I ended up getting the Curado and put it on a 7' MH St. Croix Mojo Bass. I then loaded up 15 pound Flouro and a C-Rig and went out to my local pond this morning.
Did the first cast and ended up with a decent ratnest. I was able to get the line out and reeled up the slack. Low and behond the line felt heavy. So what do all fisherman do? I set the hook and ended up fighting in a 5 lb toad. Did a littel adjustment on the reel and three cast later the line felt heavy again. After another get hook set, in comes a 4 lb'er. I ended up catching 7 in a little less then 2 hours.
The others were not as big as the first two, but 7 fish in less then 2 hours is a good start.
By the way, the rod and reel set up felt great.
I wanted to thank everyone for all their help and advise.

Go Revo..... you'll love them. I've used revo's since they came out, and recently compared one of mine with a Shimano Curado E, and a Daiwa Zillion. Hands down, the REVO won out. Thats all subjective though.
