Went to the Vine on Tuesday midday......Hooked em to the west end of the lake with no luck. Decided to head to the bubbles after a hour of looking. Sandies were active around the Areator. Only fished about an hour there before having to leave, but caught some good numbers and decent size (12" to 14" and one over 15") only brought home 40 between three in the boat but was well on the way to catching a limit and then some. White rooster tails was the charm with the bigger ones coming on chartreus slabs falling near the bottom. I have pictures but do not know how to post them.......

After growing up fishing around Chisholm Park pond the aerator seems wde open to me. I went yesterday right before the rain and didn't catch anything. I thing the barometric pressure must of already been heading south. You could take your pick of high water or low water ramp at Katie's Woods.

When you guys fish for sandies at the aerator are yall anchoring?

I'm guessing you are but I've read in here where alot of people lose their anchors in this part of the lake. Has that been a problem for any of you?

I dont anchor at the bubbles. Some do, but I use the trolling motor. The bubbles didnt produce at all for me this weekend.
