I'll be going this weekend. I've allways fished the bottom end of the lake for cats, black bass, and whites. But after reading on here for a while I'm gonna have to go try the kingsland area. I'm sure I'll try the bridges and I've got a idea what to look for, but would anyone be willing to share some tips? Like what depth, and what kind of bait works best?
Thanks, Ryan

Fish the bridge by El Rio (1431 hwy Bridge)second or third Pier out from El Rio.There is always somebody fishing there.Or try the cove by the storms Drive-in.If the fish are not there you can get a good hamburger.

Well, no luck at the kingsland end of the lake. I blame it on not knowing the area. Caught 6 at the south end saturday evening, and 8 more sunday morning. That was around brush piles and trees in 5-10 ft. Couldn't catch any under docks. About 50% keepers, and they just went in the oven.
Edit: [One hour later] Mmm good.
