 Just back from Lake Tyler had some luck with Black Angel Jig

Well, I just got back from a short afternoon trip out to Lake Tyler. I had picked up a jig from Gabe out at Black Angel Jigs and I am NOT a jig fisherman. Never the less I caught my very first bass with a jig this afternoon and then my second and third. Overall I was on the water for just under 2 hours, boated 5 bass, and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon away from the office!  Here is the jig I was throwing  I think this was bass 3  This was the first bass I ever caught on a jig, thanks Gabe

They were on the jig real good today on Tyler.
It is better to keep your mouth shut and remain a thought fool than to open it and remove all doubt. Come on silly fish open your mouth and I will remove all doubt!

No pickerel this time (thankfully), and it worked great! Cableman: my theory was a swim jig and a swim bait should be a match made in heaven, and since I had never thrown a swim jig before I would give it a try... I am very pleased!
Anybody want to go out tomorrow afternoon (hopefully I can come up with another excuse to get outta the office) and see if the Grass Bomb works on Lake Tyler?
