C, You listed an "in hull bait bucket". Is that the circular hatch with nylon bag in it? How well does the nylon bag hold bait/water? Is it water proof? Thanks, Cyp

It is a sweet boat and if Carver can catch crappie from it (and believe me he does) any one can.

The in hull bait bucket is a Frabil collapsible bait bucket modified to install under the Hobie hatch. It is actally about 2" too tall and has some wrinkles in the side, but works fine. I just cut the top out of the Frabil, removed the hatch and re-installed with the top fringe of the bait bucket captured. Red Neck engineering :-)
I have since started on a drop-in unit made from carbon fiber. I have one finished for my pro-angler and have one already prototyped for the outback. As much as I love the Pro-A, I still think of the Outback as the best all around fishing rig out there.
I didn't put it in the ad, but I have a complete new rudder assembly on it that has never been wet as well as the cart modified.

Hey Jerry, congrats on your new ride! It looks great. Maybe we can chase a couple of slabs down this year. I will not be working as much!
Horns, I remember visiting wigh you well. Glad to hear you got an Outback. Kinda changes how you look at kayak fishing.
