I am reading 36 volts at the plug but on the water thrust & power drop off fast, Does this sound like one of the 3 batterys is bad and if so what is the easyest way to locate the bad one. Thanks

Walmart will test them for free as well and give you the printout for each battery's results.

Load testing is the best way...but a good indicator is to charge them all up fully. Then put a digital voltmeter across them. Usually...and I mean "usually"...the one with the lowest voltage will be the culprit. It's not foolproof, but it's a decent rule of thumb, especially if there is a significant voltage difference.

When all else fails I do a hydrometer test on each cell. Had a battery recently that customer purchased at Wally world. At 6 months old he started having problems, so he took it back, they said it tested good, I did a hydrometer test and it showed a week cell. With my written diagnosis in hand, he went back and they replaced it.

With two bad batteries, I would be looking at the on board battery charger if you have one.
