I had a guide trip today with a couple of gentlemen from Graham TX. We had a good day, cleaning 41 with 8 - 10 of them in the 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lb. range with my personal best ever on Ray Roberts weighing in at 2.71 lbs. Caught all our fish in 10-20' water about 12-14' deep. All fish came off of the hard wood trees no cedars. Fished out of my old Triton today because at Ft. Gibson this weekend I spun the hub on the prop of my Lund, but the fish didn't seem to mind! Fishing seems to be picking back up a little bit.

Paul, Dang, sorry to hear about the boat. Hope you get it repaired soon. That's an awesome rig! Me and my buddy Jason really enjoyed the luxury of fishing out of it on our trip with you. That engine purs like a kitten Good job on the 2#er, sounds like a big catch to haul in. I'm sure just the sheer sight of a crappie that size, sent chills down you when landing it. Sounds like the fish may start to be moving a little shallower. Really appreciated the tips on techniques that you taught us. You are a great teacher. I think I'm finally starting to catch on to the tree fishing. Best of luck on your future trips and tournaments. I'm sure you and Jerry will be winning one soon! Cheers!
