Guy,

Just wanted to drop a note and tell you what a great mentor and friend you were to me. I miss those days in the big "D" learning how to tie jigs, drive around Lavon looking for fish, hooking into some blue cats on Lavon, wearing them out on "secondary banks" on Grapevine, and drinking beer in your garage. Can't figure out if I liked catching fish or just hanging out with you more. Anyhow, I'm praying to rip some lips with you again if I can ever make it back up to Dallas.

Guy,

While I've never had the pleasure of meeting you personally, I've watched you freely share information and encouragement to posters on this forum for some time. I sent an email to you once with a question about launching condos out of a boat and your reply was immediate and very helpful.

I know a few guides and some pro's. The stress on them is unbelievable. I wish you a very RELAXING future of FUN fishing. Please continue to post here, your wisdom and experience are priceless.

Hey Guy, I just wanted to add my giga dittos to the above. The two times I used your services were the most informative fishing experiences I've ever had! And your attitude and teaching willingness and ability were awesome!
Stop my my place on Cedar Creek sometime and I'll open a bottle of my best Cab!
You 'da man!

What do you mean going out? Guy is not guiding any longer? A friend and I were planning on using him in the near future. Guy took my son adn I crappie fishing for the first time a few months back and we have been hooked on crappie ever since.

Well Split Shot I guess going out again with Guy was wishful thinking but it was worth a try anyhow. I was very lucky to have booked some trips with him while he was still in business. I still can't catch crappie like I should though.
