Hit the Canals off of MacArthur today. Rain and All. Got there about 1:30. Stayed until around 4pm. Caught 2 Largemouths back to back right after I started fishing. Nothing after. They each would go about 3 lbs. Sorry. No pics. Both were released to be caught again. I'm still in search of the 2 Koi Carp in the canal. I've seen them. I'd say each would go 10 lbs easy. While Bass fishing a while back a buddy unintentionally foul hooked the orange and white Koi. After it ran off with all of his spooled line and drug my bud up the canal in a panic to hold on, the Koi snapped the 12 pound test and went off into the sunset. One of these days..... Good Fishing to ya!

That canal that runs thru the middle of those office buildings have some nice channel cats. We use to feed them french fries at lunch time years ago. Many weighed around 6lbs back then and that was 10 years ago.

I use to stay in one of the apts surrounding that canal with the Koi. I fished it almost everyday. I still fish it quite often. There are some good fish there.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the orange Koi died. I saw it on the bank a few months ago. I have only seen the white one once since I saw the orange dead. It was at least 15lbs.
