Hey all,

Just brought my Bullet over from TN and thought might put in shop for service prior to hitting the lakes.......I want to have water pump impeller done and general looking at as noticed some cracked vac hoses.

Who's the best guy in the Fort Worth area?

Motor is a 99 300 Pro Max.

Thanks in advance

I use Gunter Marine. Always behind and it takes forever. But it will be done right. Mark has been working on Mercury motors since he was a kid. I would go in with my dad and his dad would have him cleaning parts and stuff.

The owner Wes is a great mechanic and very fair. He has done a lot of work for me. I would highly recommend him.

On older Mercs Mark Gunter has a good handle on finding parts-if he doesn't have them in his shop already

Try Charlies in Alvarado off of west hwy56. He's great mercury man and knows what he's doing for sure. Try him out.

Thanks guys for all the help - I went to Mark Gunter saturday am and he could not have been more helpful - great guy.

I found my roll of Merc hose and decided I would just prep the boat myself and pick up the parts.

Drained the lower unit prior to pulling it off for water pump and it was slam full of water - seal plate pushed up....bad news.

Mark was kind enough to look at it and sell me the updated parts - lower back on and all is well.

Opti - also stopped by and picked some stuff from you guys - really nice folks in parts.

Thanks again!
