Buddy of mine told me that he had been catching em jigging minnows. Seems that the fishing has picked up some. Give em a call at 972.646.5330, they're usually honest with their fishing reports.

Who fishes Bardwell??? There are some huge bass being pulled out of there on the north end near the Lillys. Don't know about the Crappie though. Bedding is really good right now. (I am sure the 40 MPH south wind is making havoc today though!!) IF you ever need a fishing buddy for Bardwell, let me know. I am right around the corner!!

I fished one of the feeder creeks out of Bardwell 2 weeks ago, no crappie and 2 sandies. Creek looked good though. Photos of the creek are in the test area. Call that number hub cap put up their, they will shoot ya straight.

I may go this morning, talked to a friend of mine that had been out there and saw lots of full stringers. Bass good there too, between the marina and the bank.

I know there has been some nice fish (bass) caught around the marina lately, including a new lake record (10.5 lbs) a couple of weeks ago...but what about this around the lillies on the north end? I don't know of any lilly pads on this lake?

Well I haven't been since last season but when I did. there was a patch, had to be 1/4 mile around. Nothing but good sized lillys. It is hard to get up there (was last year) only about 2-3 ft deep for quite a while.

yea, the north end of bardwell is almost completely silted in....it looks like it would be deep, but almost all of it is about 5' or less.
