Buddy just bought a house on the lake and I was going out there. Anybody know how the fishing is? Any tips would really help.

I have always wondered about this lake myself. It is a very pretty lake with all the different structure you could ask for (trees, vegetation, rocks and other structure). One would think it would be a great fishery but we never hear anything about it, maybe it is one of those best kept secret places.

I know there are some big fish in the lake, but haven't ever really had any good luck there! It looks like a great lake to fish, and the new side is where I have caught most of my fish, but there was an 11 lber caught in a tourney we had there on the old side.

My bud was talking to a guy that lives on the lake and he said that the Wed. night tourney usually takes 20lbs to win!

Texas rig 7'' berkley (electric grape) worm. And a spor frog early in the morning on the top of grass, (black) has worked the best so far.

I have had luck with spinnerbaits in the old lake anywhere there is rocks and timber, new lake side no luck, however small jigs with trailers does catch them over there, atleast with the guy I fished with last year.

I will be back. I'm never truly gone.....Last post by Brad RIP
