Anyone having luck on JBT yet? I haven't been but am seriously considering running up there tomorrow.

How did you do? been thinking about going myself.

I didn't go. I messed up and didn't leave early and wife made different plans. ended up raking leaves and cleaning up the yard all day. Oh well it needed to be done anyways. Have you fished thomas much?

Not to much just a few times. I am a bank fisher and had moderate success there on catfish, but not crappie.

Wow! Hope you will let us know how ya do/did. Not seen this many Midland, TX tags in a LONG while here. My experience, just mine, is that it is Way to early on JBT. But keep us informed, would love to be wrong!

Have not seen a post from you in quite a while.

How about let's meet up for a day of chasing green trash fish at AH in the near future. If I am lucky, I know that I can scratch up one extra day to go, or a Saturday if need be.

Mike, after my being a NO SHOW for ALL of 2005 you are kind to invite me. I will email you and we can do it!!!! Gotta get some fishin' in, I do miss it!!!!!!!!!

PS: I wanna learn all them Rocky Creek secert spots. Is AH still super crowded?

I have only been down there once this year, on a tourny day, but not too big of a crowd. No problems getting in or out and had no problems finding likely spots.

I will show you the late spring and summertime crappie holes that I use. None are hard to find and all have produced a time or three.

Forgot to throw this one in. Sorry guys for chatting with Mark about LAH on a JBT post, and about fishing for the green "trash" fish on a real fish (crappie) posting area. Just have not communicated with him much lately and got excited about fishing with him again. Can't ever tell, we may fish for carp!!!

Wow, looks like the Midland Fishing Gang is in here. For information I went to Brownwood last weekend, we did great! Let me know how you guys do at JB. I have fished there but only caught small cats. I'm actually going to try Colorado city this next weekend. The bloom came back in, but I was there on 3-11-06 and a few fish were being caught. Anyhow good luck and good fishing!

Has anybody heard if there is somebody selling minnows around the area. I know there was a guy selling them out of his truck last year. I believe he was thinking about buying the bait house but someone told me the other day that bait house burnt to the ground.

Anybody heard about this or are they rumors.

He will not be there this year, just not enough business to justify the trip/weekend, or so he tells me.

They tore the little store down last year, and no one in Snyder sells minnows. So if you come, be sure and bring your bait.

Two years ago we went by moss creek just outside of Big Spring and picked up our minnows. We were coming from midland and it was not that far out of the way.
This year we will probably try to cast net some out of our city lake or have my brother in law pick some up at alan henry on his way down.
