All the courtesy docks are not usable at Lake Belton so putting in the boat alone is hard to do. Don't like beaching my 6 month old boat and scratching up the underside. Any one else have some clever solo fishing ideas?

I was just reading about the Hamby. How much is it ballpark? And when you ramp it, the Hamby shows NO signs of abrasion?

You will have to have the Hamby's installed by a certified Hamby installer (dealer). I believe it will run you about $400 to $450 installed.

Worth every penny. Make sure its installed right. And as far as roughing it up on the ramp that will take some time and you want to gently put it up on the concrete. Mine shows little wear and it is ramped everywhear I go, I allways pick my co angler up on the ramp and it blows thear mind.

just North of the boat ramp at Roger's park on Belton is a sandbar that I use when the water is low.

The problem is not that Belton is Low, Belton is 7' High.

A Hambys is a must have for tournament fishing And if you add a "Power pole" with the Hambys, it allows you to just nose up to a rock bank or ramp without having to actually "Beach" all the way up on the rocks/ramp. They also have 2 different Hambys - a "Light duty" and a "Heavy Duty" model I believe The heavy duty comes with a life time part and labor warranty.

I have the Keel Guard and have had it on for 5 years. Yes it shows some scratch's but the boat will get scratched. I know it hurts, and I keep mine as prestine as possible, but scratch it and the next one will hurt less.
