I have the 520c in the console and recently purchased/installed the 522 up front on the deck. Can I use the puck from the 520c to the 522? The 522 is a good unit but the internal antenna keeps losing gps signal and drives me crazy. Can I run a cord from the 520 to the 522?

Yes, you can. You need to set up a NEMA 2000 network(Lowrancenet) network between the 2 units. You will need a network start up kit. http://www.lei-extras.com/store/cart.asp. 1 extra T connector and 1 more 2' extension.

You don't have to use NMEA 2000....you can also use the NMEA 0183 protocol to share the GPS signal from one to the other.

NMEA 2000 is plug and play whereas the 0183 requires some wiring.
