What floro and braid do you use in touth abrasive cover? What brand and test do you recomend? This will be put on a mh rod 6'6 jig and plastic mojo rod by saint croix. The reel will be a shimano curado 200e7. So what floro and braid brand and test would you recomend for the forementioned combo? Keep in mind the uses will mainly be for jigs plastics and the assorted swimbait.

I like the suffix brand of braid. As far as floro I use Seaguar inviz x. 30lb braid and 15lb floro leader.

10-15# Hi-SEAS Grand Slam Braid joined to 3-4ft of 8# Hi-SEAS 100% Fluorocarbon leader via a Uni-to-Uni knot or an Improved Albertos Knot (SUPER strong and VERY small....pretty tough to tie, though).

20LB XPS is great, Berkley 100 percent flouro is just as good but cost a bit more. If you want braid I would suggest Powerpro 30 or 50 pound braid as it is very abrasion resistant. You may find you might have to cut your line if you get hung up with either of these if you use a polomar for the flouro or double palomar for the braid.

Suffix Braid and XPS Flourocarbon. When on Falcon I skip the flourocarbon and use just braid. In heavy tough cover in clear water I will use 30 and 40 lb flourocarbon. The other lb test flourocarbon is dictated by what lure and where I am fishing but generally try to use the lightest lb test I feel I can get away with so that I can maximize lure action or diving depth.
