And they gotta be the most ugly/cheap looking reels too. Plus there heavy compared to the daiwa and shimanos.

My daughter won one of those at a local tournament back in the spring. I opened the box & discovered all these extra parts, mainly drag washers. Ok. So I start to put line on it & discover why all the drag parts. Basically, the reel had a stack installed in it about 3/4 of the height needed to make any workable drag. mind you, this reel was part of a 8-12# setup, so max drag should be no more than 4#. long & short, I messed with drag stack combo's until I got it to make between 1-5# with a long ramp up. (lots of turns on the cap) Now it's an awesome reel that gets brutalized by my daughter on all kinds of fish from little rainbows to hybrids & blue cats. as far as eliminating twist, well no significant difference, but then, I know how to put line ON a spinning reel, too.
