I see guys around the boat ramps fishing like that all the time.... only they use a coke bottle, not a fancy stick.

I have seen several using beer cans with mono wrapped around. I agree, if I had to fish that way I just might quit. nuts

Down in Mexico even at Amistad on the Mexico side I have seen some people who are really good with cans and bottles. A lot of them are kids and I don't think it's for fun I think they are hungry.

i watched up to a little past the second catch, & that was enough for me.
