Come on Ernest, give us weekend fisherman a break, do you have to torture us so, with the reports of your successful trip. lol

Glad to hear you had a good day, I hope to have one myself, sooner or later. Hopefully sooner than later.

Ernest,

Way to go big guy! Can you give me specifics on where Cedar Creek is, how to get there from Farmersville on 78, where exactly to go to get into these fish. I am a bank fisherman but would love to get my two boys into the fish.

Ernest,

I am going to Grapevine this afternoon then Ray Bob Friday. I always put in at Buck Creek. Did your buddy go left or right when he left the ramp? I'll try to figure out the rest myself.

YOU GUYS MUST NEVER SLEEP.

CEDAR CREEK: COLOR DIDN'T SEEM TO MATTER. FIZ DID. 21 FISH ON FIZ JIGS, 17 ON JIGS WITHOUT FIZ. DOSESN'T SEEM LIKE A LARGE DIFFERENCE BUT THAT'S A 24% INCREASE. FIRST TEST.

PART OF THE FISH CAME OFF OF 198 BRIDGE AT CANEY CREEK. FISHING ABOUT 10' DEEP IN 20'+ WATER. SHOULD WORK ON ALL THE BRIDGES.

THE BULK OF THE FISH WERE CAUGHT SLOW (VERY SLOW) TROLLING OR DRIFTING JIGS ABOUT 8' TO 10' DEEP IN 10' TO 25' WATER.
THIS IS A METHOD OF FISHING THAT I AM JUST LEARNING SO I CAN'T TELL YOU A LOT YET EXCEPT THAT IT WORKED. SORT OF LIKE CANNON BALLING.

RAY ROBERTS: EAST UP BUCK CREEK. ALL THE CREEKS SHOULD HAVE FISH BY NOW. IT'S JUST A MATTER OF SEARCHING THEM OUT.

BANK FISHING AT CEDAR CREEK, EXCEPT WHERE HIGHWAY 175 CROSSES THE LAKE IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. ALL THE SHORE LINE IS PRIVATELY OWNED.

------------------
GOOD FISHING.

Ernest: Are you still cutting your Fiz tablet in half and sliding it on the jig??
I tried the tap water test last night and all the tablets I tried worked.
They did work better in luke warm water.
I'm saving the rest of my tablets for fishing.

Cedar Creek is east of Dallas off of Hwy 175. You can take 175 to 198 in mabank and go right from Dallas to Gun Barrell City and there it is. There are only a few places to launch your boat some free and some you pay.

Erenest my goal this summer is to learn to fish the docks good. I have got the sling shot method down now if I can just get it under someof those low docks. I will let you know how I do. And thanks for the teachings of dock fishing for crappie.
