Ok, thanks. We might go there in the afternoon. I plan on leaving before dawn and getting there early in the morning. Probably fish at the hotel in the morning, and then who knows.

I live here in Austin on Lake Travis so Lake Travis is pretty much my backyard. You could fish here if you want or go out on my friend's boat a few houses down from me since I sold my boat.

You guys would be welcome to stay here since I have plenty of room at my house here on Travis. The lake has been really low but we got a good rise several feet last week but the lake is still very low.

Also I did graduate from UT Austin in 2001 so any questions you have about UT let me know. Or questions about Austin or downtown or things to do around here.

Inks Lake State Park. Entrance fee but has a couple of fishing piers and beautiful scenery.
Lake LBJ Marina and Resort. Has restuarant, boat and jet ski rentals, and rooms.
Both are on the internet for directions and fees.
