Fishing is really picking up in the P.M.'s right before dark at several area lakes. Temperature changes of 4-6 degrees difference from A.M. and main lake temps. if you are wind protected, shallow and murky. Ponds and soil conservation lakes are warming up faster with the crappie staying shallow longer. If we can hold 50 degree nights it is only going to get better. Regards, Mud-Dabber

Yes I have to agree.I have been catching a lot of fish at Elm Creek lake. Lots of throwbacks and the legal fish have been very few and far between. I just havn't located the bigger ones yet. A little more warm weather and we are all going to be in slab heavan.
