When are you planning the event for? I live in Georgetown but go to school at SFA. I would like the chance to get in on that if I could

Brandon yall are more than welcome to join. I just want everybody to realize that I'm not trying to have another SFA bucketmouth tournament or anything here, but more of a get together on a fun little lake and a little competition between the clubs. I want the best club to win not the club with the best team for the day. Working on the format still.

I'll see if our other team would want to go, we only have 2 teams. They'll be at Rayburn on the 18th and 19th of December. Does anyone know why is there only one tournament in Texas in the Collegiate Bass Championship and its in Dec?

Currently I have A&M, McLennan Community College, Baylor, Friends College in Kansas, UT and Texas State. Still trying to figure out a way to let schools with only one team fish. If anybody has an idea let me know. Schools with one team kinda eliminates the club idea, but realize some clubs only have one team.

Does it have to be on bastrop? We can go to fayette county lake? just an idea? The closest thing to rooms are campsites. And the lake fishes really really small.

Wanting it to be on bastrop. Its a really fun lake. Like I said trying to keep it kinda small and local, but if it gets to big or if the interest is that high we could move it to someville. It fished great last winter taking 20+ lbs to win the sunday jackpots.

There are waterfront cabins that sleep either 4 or six that are really nice for 60 a night......and on tuesday afternoon i had three fish go over four pounds. the only downside to bastrop is its a slot limit lake. so it would be a paper tourney. which leads to concerns of honesty

We don't have to make it a paper tourney. I'm fine weighing in unders/overs. Adds to the challenge on that lake. Two of our guys went yesterday and caught around 50 fish.
