Quantum Accurist's at Academy. Very smooth and they have a flipping switch, I love em. I think they are $99 right now, sometimes you can get them as low as $60 if you catch them on sale.

Can't beat a used Chronarch.
Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

I have some Citicas and thought i like them until buying some others that the cost was higher, but a really great combo you can get at Academy is the Black Max combo. It is one of the smoothest and far casting reals that i have, the only thing left to do with it is find out how long it will last. Be sure to spool it full because it will really cast a long way, and they cost $59.99 for rod and real.
Good Luck

Some folks may not like to be seen with Bass Pro Shops reels, but their "Pro Qualifier" is a great reel IMO. Around 95 bucks, dual braking = very forgiving.

Abu Garcia Black Max is $49.99.
Search eBay. I found 3 Shimano Calcuttas for $80.

Love my pro qualifiers...They just came out with a new version that is the same price. Only a few small changes to it. Only thing to remember is if it breaks southwest parts or local reel fixers may not be able to repair it but it can be shipped back to st louis missouri to the BpS there and it will be repaired....they told me it would take 3-5 days typically so not a bad turn around. Wal-Mart has the Revo S for under a bill. I don't have an S but I have SX and STX's and they are great. I would recommend the S if the others are any indication.
