ok? I like the separate pole holders so you can chose to have your poles spread a good distance or have them right next to each other.

Can get about the same thing at Academy for about 15 bucks LOL. Just not the tripod, push in bank holder for 3 rods.

catfishing is now an industry ... it's best for the industry to eat baby catfish

I bought a section of 4 inch PVC and eight 6 inch band clamps. I had some pieces of rebar I cut into 24 inch lengths. Clamped the rebar onto the PVC (cut into 18 inch lengths) and I had 4 rod holders for bank fishing.

only way you could use that and not lose your rods is by using the clicker and disengaging the spool ... think about this ... that's just a camera type tripod ... just how stable is a camera tripod? Those are also known by another name ....... ROCKET LAUNCHERS!!!

I only fish the clicker method....and you can stick those spikes into the ground to anchor the pod...

i like it. the back spike looks like its the most important one & should go in the sand or ground as deep as possible. i think it would be good for sand, mud, & also rocky ground because you can adjust the height on every leg. it would also keep your rods out of the mud if your anal like some. DFisherman, if you buy it please let us know how it works for you. i have the yellow academy 3 pole holder. it doesnt work well in rocky areas or concrete. on concrete this one would work with the clicker on. thanks for sharing!

How long are the spikes ? It looks like my telescope tripod and the spikes on that (meant for steadying the platform) are only a few inches long at most. I vote with Fishin' Nut on this one ; get you some rebar and duct tape the pvc to 18" sections.
