 Ray Roberts Lake Ramp Closures-Latest update

The Buck Creek Boat Ramp (HWY 377), Pond Creek Boat Ramp, and Pecan Creek Boat Ramp (FM 3002) on Ray Roberts Lake are CLOSED due to high water being on the asphalt portion of the ramp. Johnson Branch Ramp is getting close to closure. All other ramps on Ray Roberts are open at this time.

What is the deciding factor in reopening?
Level down to 633.5 or ?
Combo of the Weather and Level?
Checked out a couple of creeks earlier, it aint pretty.

ParkCop, thanks for the update. I launched at Isle Du Bois on Sunday with no issues at all.
Any projection on when and if that broken metal dock by the launch ramp will be repaired?

How about replacing the No Wake bouy from a year or so ago? Two would be nice like everywhere else. Would help with some people who dont know any better.
I cant believe they worry so much about the asphalt and nothing else.
Seems like nothing gets replaced in those RR state parks bouys, wind breaks, docks. Kinda junky with that dock never being taken out or replaced.

how bout the rubber bumpers on the the buck creek dock getting replaced sometime. its just a piece of old tire, but it sure beats the 12 inches of gel coat that i left on the bare metal a while back. what a sickening sound it was.

Yep, I have to agree Judd. I should know better than to ask a harmless question on here. My intent was not to open a can of worms for everyone to jump on for sure.
Okay guys, gripe session over. I appreciate ParkCop being on here. Parkcop, no harm meant by my initial inquiry at all about the dock. Just curious.

At what water level will Sanger Access close?
I was told that the ramps are pulled up as far as they will go now. With maybe 3 feet to go.
Please remember Park Cop does not decide what will be repaired he has Bosses too.

Everyone is saying that bad weather is over but Channel 8 just said possibly 2 more inches in DFW and all this is going up to Okla who's creeks feeds LRR. So Ray Bob may still rise another 3-4-5 feet before all that rain gets here. Seen it happen before. Just Saying....

Someone needs to do a watershed study to see that Red River catchs all water out of OK
