Anyone fish the ponds in and around Keller was thinking about going to a few ponds and was gonna see if anyone has had any luck at any of them?

I haven't fished the ponds by the town hall since last winter when they stocked trout. I'm not much of a bass fisherman but I've pulled a couple nice ones from Bear Creek Park. I mainly take my kids fishing at these parks when the city hosts the kid fishing derbies. My opinion is that outside of these times, the fishing isn't too good.

I hit the pond near town hall this afternoon. Caught 5 small bass, a blue gill, a sunfish, and a catfish. Nothin too big but it was a fun time and quite a few fish for only bein out a little over an hour. Mostly was using spinner but the cat was on a crawfish

i live close by. would like to take my son. does anybody know when stocked. is the town hall pond the same as bear creek park ponds. so you get hits w artificial lures? thanks

They aren't stocked regularly. Probably the last time was at one of the last kid fishing derby events. There will be a trout derby coming this winter. Check out the Keller city website.
