Blood knot works fine. Twist lines together, open a space in the middle, run one free end thru opening, then same with the other in opposite direction. Albright knot may be considered easier by some. Try www.animatedknots.com for great visiual help. thumb

Uni to Uni works great. If braid to flouro, then wrap the braid 7 to 8 times and the flouro 5 to 6 times, as the braid can slip with fewer wraps... Good luck

I always use a swivel or swivel snap. It's easy to change leaders later if necessary.

i always use a swivel!! but i also use braid and i dont like my line twisting up all the time so thats what the swivel is for!! then a quick swirl for easy lure change!!!!

i love to fish but catching is soooo much better!!

This thread has changed my life! thumb Thanks LP et. all who suggested uni2uni. Tried it and already liking it better than blood knot. As for swivels, they have their applications, I prefer not to use them when possible. Knot knowledge is a fading art, and I just like tying knots.
