Caught several fish but because a 2 gallon livewell my freind had on his boat there wasn't room, so I kept the 2 biggest ones. I wish I had a scale. The bite was great today...until his motor wouldn't crank and we had to troll back to the ramp with the very last bit of juice in his battery, but atleast we made it.

I think he told me they were jigging and spooning them. i do know it was on the west side--just a little the way down from the boat ramp at the north end of the lake.

Cant wait to get out there this next week.

Hey FOML, haven't seen you in a little while. Did you ever get that trolling motor put on?

Thanks guys, and thanks SNMCC. I was using a pink bucktail slab jiggy thing that SNMCC let me use. I have no idea what it's called, but he said it works...and sure nuff, he was right. I threw it out about 75 yards and worked it back in like a slow bass jig...bouncing the bottom and hopping it back to you. They hit like a freight train. I caught them on the hump to the right as you come out of the cove where the ramp is. Right in front of the house with the big wooden deck(just left of the boat house with the American Flag painted on it) about 75-100 yards off shore.
Those are my two biggest hybrids so far. It sure makes me miss striper fishing.

Trolling motor is still sitting in my garage. With hunting season right around the corner it may get put on in the spring. Sounds like yall tore them up. The biggest hybrids I have ever caught came right there on those west side humps. Anyone been to Coleman lately?
