I did a similar speech in college, but I used lures. I talked about 3-4 lures, depths they covered, times of the year, what they imitate, etc. Worked pretty good, also can take the lures in for props! If I remember correctly, it was: topwater, spinnerbait, worm and jig.

One of the pros had a blog about the rigors of proffesional bass fishing on Bassmaster.com. That may be a starting point.

I did a 2 similar speeches while attending TCJC.
I did one on flipping vs pitching, discussed the pros and cons of each technique along with when and where to apply each. I also brought in my flipping stick and demonstrated both. Should have seen the look on the faces when I dropped the 'ole jig into a plastic cup from about 25 ft away, lol.. Had a couple of fellow students come up and try it too.
I also did one on the pros and cons of team tournaments vs individual events. Spoke about how teams have to work in tandem to be successul, sharing ideas, trying different baits, etc and then how as an individual all decisions are yours. I had my doubts if anyone would even understand what I was talking about but I used references to other team sports to try and draw comparisons. Seemed to go over quite well. At least my grades were good!
Having said that, if you're going to discuss professional bass fishing, I would recommend possibly discussing the following:
1) Sponsorship (life blood of pro anglers). Discuss how an angler would approach various sponsors, what to expect from them and what the angler can provide the sponsor in return.
2) Hardships of breaking into the pro fishing world. learning curve for fishing new water bodies. The challenges to cover expenses incurred, entry fees, cost of boats, tow vehicles, maintenance, fuel, lodging, etc vs potential payback (winning a check) or going home empty handed. (the big gamble aspect).
3) Family life. Discuss how being a pro angler can effect family. Being single vs married with kids and how the pro angler accomodates this challenge (having family travel with them and home schooling kids vs leaving family behind).
Just some examples. Good luck.

"Friends, Romans and countrymen.....lend me your ears."
"I regret that I have only one life to........."
"Four score and seven years ago, our Fathers brought forth...."
"READ MY LIPS!....NO MORE NEW TAXES!"
These are some examples from former speeches I found that might work for you....however, I would suggest that you find your own unique intro and delivery!
****Sun sinking low....lines baited.....gentle south breeze blowing...you realize.........I AM! .
