did a little crappie fishing on somerville last weekend.

me and my 2 boys boated about 40 fish my 5 year old landed one that weighed in at 2.8oz

fished in about 10 to 12ft of water over brush piles used minnows and jigs

tried the eagle claw crappie nitro and it seems to work but had hard time keeping it on hook is there a trick to keeping on the hook
