Do they taste like chicken? depends, sometimes they really do, but most of the time it tastes like squirrel Greatness, mev002! I've never eaten one. However, based on their diet, they ought to be tasty if prepared properly.

I freaking hate squirrels! Cost me two grand last year to get the suckers out of my attic.
I see a squirrel...out comes the gun....arent squirrels in season 365? no they aren't in season all year round, it varies by county

Great job!! I use to do alot of Squirrel hunting, but last year I found a baby squirrel about 2 days old and raised it for about 9 months before letting it go! They are very smart animals, and not bad to eat but I just dont have the heart to kill them anymore!

squirrel sauce piquant, doesn't get much better than that right there. I need to get me a half dozen of those critters, and make some up.

Squirrel Frikasey sp, or gumbo is hard to beat, young fried squirrel is the bomb, I think it is the best tasting wild game meat that there is, they are a lot of fun to hunt, 22 caliber head shots !
