Well I had a great time down on falcon, caught a bunch of fish. Fished thursday-saturday.

Thursday was tough due to the record heat and no clouds. I did catch some fish, but couldn't put a pattern together. Caught them anywhere from 2-15' on several different presentations. I did start catching them on a crank off rocks right at dusk though. Not alot of fish, but most of them were solid 3-4 pound fish. Probably only a 16-17 pound sack that day.

Friday was a different story. The front was coming through and the fish switch on big time. Slammed a 30 pound sack in the tigers, and man was it fun! Best five went 7.5, 6.5, 6, 5, and 5. Lost about 3-4 more that were 5 plus. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits on the edge of brush in 5-10' of water. Awesome day.

Saturday I could only fish for a couple hours, but managed to catch about 6 1-4 pound fish. The spinnerbait bite died, and they moved into brush in 10-12' of water, plum ole monsters were the ticket.

All in all it was a great trip and I'm very happy with the results with it only being my second time down there.

Noticed the spillway in the 2nd pic. Looks like the state park cove area of the lake. My PB came from a main lake point going into state park cove.
