Fished today with Hardin Camp and two sons, 4 year old Cayden and 7 year old Case from Round Rock. Those boys never said they wanted to go home, they are fisherboys for sure.

Had not been to Fayette in about 10 days. From all reports the bite at Fayette has been pretty slow. I felt lucky that we put 27 nice fish in the cooler that made 4 gallons of fillets.

Fish were in 5 foot water, caught under cork using Sureshot pucnh bait. Parking lot was full, lots of bass fishermen out today, as well as three of my prior customers that were catfishing.

That is one of the best memories of goose guiding I got, taking the kids! That is a trip the good Lord bless you. Fishing and hunting with those kiddos!

Zee, the folks today fish Granger. I see it is 2 foot above normal right now. Yep, those kids were having some fun. The 4 year old would take pliers, get some sureshot on it and feed it to the cats in the cooler...plus each string of "Seaweed" (Moss) we pulled in he would cut it up into pieces before throwing it back in.

We fished it Sat. Caught a 4 lb black bass on a shad. That lake went from 498 to 506 in just about a month. Sure has those cats feeding.
