The plans for the jig tray are cool but isnt that basically like the flipsider? Has anyone built one of these? I was wondering if the hot glue holds up?

I liked his plans better than the flippsider as I can customize the tray to allow for areas to keep my trailers as well. It is also like $5 to make and kind of a fun project to tinker with. As far as the hot glue, I don't know yet. I tried with superglue and it did not stay together.

Any clear, divided, no-name box works great. Best "bang-for-your-buck". Lable them with a "Sharpie".

I was reading the Falcon box wont hold jigs larger than 3/4 or smaller than 1/4 and football heads. Too many limitations for me if true.

Small plastic tie wraps. Quick, easy and have lasted well so far. +1

Quick, easy and have lasted well so far. +1 on the small cabel ties just pull the skirt back a little cinch the cable tie down cut off the tag end then cut the rubber collor off. works great on spinner baits also. By the way I use allot of Power chiggers with my jigs and I put a few jigs that I will be using right in the bag with them. It dont take long and the sent will sent the jig also.

I tried the bread ties and power pro line. Both methods seem to work well. Thanks for the tips.

Built my jig box that holds 20 baits plus some trailers and it works great.

Small plastic tie wraps. Quick, easy and have lasted well so far. I second that, I like to change my skirts alot. This method allows you to just clip the tie wrap if you still like to be able to change to another skirt later. It allows you to salvage a jig that the rubber is starting to rot on. Brandon (007) showed me this trick and it's a good one.

If youre using bread ties and you want to change skirts, then dont you have a bunch of loose silicone strings? (assuming the rubber band was removed) The way I see it is if you use the superline or bread ties, those skirts on on for the long haul. Its good though to rescue skirts where the rubber is going.

I think that black angel has the best solution but it isn't exactly cheep lol .....LOL...Hey they say you get what you pay for. We use the best materials available out there and that is why they last. You have to figure, if you spend 2.50 on a rubberbanded jig and roughly 3 bucks for one of ours, ours will outlast the rubberbanded ones which in the long run actually saves you money. Talon has the same type of deal but they use wire. Awesome product but the better products generally cost more. If they are cheaper there is a reason. There are even some hand tied stuff out there that lacks quality components. If you are going to go with a rubberband3ed jig stick to Spitfire, or EZ jigs, they are the best in my opinion for rubber collared jigs.
