 do the crappie get bigger in the winter?

Went to the local lake today for an hour and a half and had a good meal tonight. The small one was a little over 10''.

the ones ive caught and seeen this week have been very nice also ,w/r/j

Nice fish, and yes, some of my biggest fish of the year are caught in the colder months.

Shannon, drop me an e-mail and maybe we can work something out. This could be a very productive lake but I fish from a tube and am not able to sink condos etc. However, I have been able to do pretty well in certain areas.
