Depending on depths, bouching a crankbait can be effective. Also a football head jig works well through rocks.

when fishing rocky areas, you will probably run across shallower ledge type spots, deep ledges, and rocky banks that extend out that are a bit shallower.
I like to be prepared for them all...you can run a mid to deep crankbait off the ledges that drop deep, a square billed crank on the shallower banks or parallel to the bank pretty close, etc...
you can also drop a jig off the ledges, rocks, etc...
alot of options actually

i like throwing a lv 300 over the rocks and bouncing it off of them. rough on the baits but man it can work
