I have to work hard today Mark but Saturday I will be back at it. I hope to catch a few off of them Ernest. I just hope I put them in good spots. It sure was nice to figure out where they were yesterday and what they wanted and how they wanted it. Lucky to get to read so much on here. That seminar at the CAT meeting helped a bunch.

I took the day off in the middle of a foggy morning to sneak some patented Ernest Paty condos in the water. Walking the plank made it simple. Then about 8:30 when we were through we went fishing. Fish bite better during the week. We have a fish fry for one of my sons birthday this weekend and we kept a few to fry. My wife kept a 10" one cause he bled like a stuck hog. Most are 11-12". A few are bigger. We kept 26. My wife lost the mother of all crappie at the side of the boat. Biggest crappie I ever saw up close. I lost a couple of good ones too at the top of the water. I tied on a secret color I got from Thumpit Jigs this morning and caught 20 something fish and was taking the hook out of a 12"er and the hook just broke. I guess I wore it out. We finally found a pattern. 15 feet down on the new bridge. They were hitting it best when you slowly raised your rod tip on the backside of the columns from the current. They would swim up to get it and you would see slack. We started on the first column and worked our way out 10 more sets of columns. Left them biting cause I had a little work to do. Catching fish is easy during the week. Nice catch, just sent a copy of this to your boss so he wouldn't feel left out...... Hookie!Jigum

Bobby if you go again while everyone else is at work don't bother posting pictures. We don't want to see how much fun your having catching fish.

I took the day off in the middle of a foggy morning to sneak some patented Ernest Paty condos in the water. I sank 2 condos on RR this afternoon after work. Didn't have time to fish. Im sure you both obtained permission from the Corp to litter their property We finally found a pattern. 15 feet down on the new bridge. They were hitting it best when you slowly raised your rod tip on the backside of the columns from the current. Amazing a pattern using existing structure. This post is proof-positive that there is existing structure that can be used to pull good fish from without throwing garbage/condos on someone elses property so one can have their own 'top secret' location.
My opinion is worth what you paid for it...

Hey Slug-Go, I read this on the Off Topic forum yesterday and thought it was very funny. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...my_own_b#UNREAD
