Anyone catching big croakers at Rollover Pass or the surrounding areas? Need to put my nephew and brother-in-law on some. Between the 2 of them they have been fishing a total of 2 times.

Went last 09-29-09 and caught about six big ones. A big school of them must've have moved through there because everyone else was catching them to. They were biting for about thirty minutes straight and then the bite just shut off. So if you go, just be patient and ready. The best thing to do is watch everyone else to see if they are catching any or else you'll lose a lot of bait to piggy perch.

Don't sweat the petty stuff, just pet the sweaty stuff.

My wife and I went fishing at rollover pass this past weekend. The croakers were biting on the out going tide on the bay side of the bridge. We also saw a few anglers catch some nice reds and I even landed a nice 6# black drum. Between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning i saw only 2 flounder caught one keeper and one throw back. We're gonna try again in about a week or so....I want a few flat fish:D.

Thanks, I will be heading down there Sunday to do some fishing. I want to catch some flounder as well. Gonna catch some finger mullet and shrimp . I might hit the surf up as well and catch a bull red or two.

Here's a lil something that I saw while fishing out there this past weekend. The finger mullet gather under the lights. So if you have a throw net more power to you. Good luck.

I have a few spots on the way to rollover where I catch my bait. I hope I catch some good fish this weekend.
