Hello guys and gals, I'm heading to OH Ivie for the first time this weekend, and was wondering if anyone had any info they would share with me about fishing over there. Deep, shallow, main lake, creeks, any info to get me started in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I'm taking a good buddy of mine over for his 70th birthday. Would love to be able to show him a good time. Thanks.

Get with Jerry at Elm Creek Village he can point you in the right direction . I have heard it was a very tough bite this past weekend.

You can also go read the report from the Bass Champs Championship that was out there....the guys who won it were fishing deep. For just having a blast I would recommend working all the flooded brush with frogs on braided line...between pre-fishing and practice and tourney days we caught at least 30 fish on that technique and the blow ups were insane. We didn't catch any huge fish but managed a lot of fish in the 2#-4# range. If you want to PM me I will try to tell you a few specific areas.

Try frogs over shallow vegetation & swim baits over flats if the wind is blowing. There is also a pretty good flipping bite in 4 to 10 ft mid lake.
Good Luck & be carefull there is lots of timber

Be there this Fri-Mon myself so we will see how things go. High pressure might make it a little tough. Staying at the Sportsmans Lodge since Jerry was closed. We will be in a white Dodge 2500 with Skeeter ZX 180. Holler if you see us! Be glad to give some tips once we hopefully see whats working!

Good Luck & be carefull there is lots of timber you have the pic of those 8 pounders shane caught? frogs, and more frogs over submerged vegetation. theres a big weedbed mainlake with a road bed that runs through it. you can follow the road bed with your trolling motor and they are sitting on the edges of the roadbed where the hydrilla meets up.
