I'm going to hit another technique tomorrow on Tips and Tricks" and merge it with "Around the Forum" for October 19th.
Tommy Climer and I will hit Lake Ray Hubbard tomorrow afternoon for some Frog Fishing....Due's/Donts and How To's.
If you have any Frog Fishing question post them on here and I will try to get them answered tomorrow.
Thanks again for all the support and post those questions.

I am not a great frog fisherman. The little that I do know is that they are great if worked on top of matted grass or weed beds where the grass is almost at the top of the water. Then let the frog fall down in any holes in the grass. Besides that I an not sure.
Please help me with the type of retrieves that work great with soft plastic frogs w/ paddle type legs. And any other types of advice that will help me become a better frog fisherman.
thanks

I hear that the bottom color of the frog is the only thing that is important!! I have thrown All White frogs with Little Success but have thrown a Watermelon Top wiht Orange Bottom or the old fashioned Watermelon/Red Bull Frogs/Ribbits and killed fish on them!! So. . . what are his/ya'lls favorite colored frogs and when to throw them??? Good Luck on the Water Bazz!!

Frog fishing to me is the Spro type baits, swimming frog type baits are the ribbit etc, both are total different applications,
Spro type will catch the fish that are set up on some type of cover, pads, underwater structure, etc; the other type will catch the active fish most of the time.
The swimming frog works great on Cedar Creek in the hot part of summer, pitch in the back of the docks in the shade and bring it out, HANG ON>

how often do you follow up with a worm presentation (slow fall) when a fish misses a frog, or do you just let the frog fall when the fish misses it?
thanks

I have noticed that my frogs get a little water in them. Do you care about this or just throw it back out and let it do it's thing. I also change out the skirts (legs) that come stock. I like the ones that I have better, but does this matter? Is there a color that I should be using.
Black Frog - brown with black stripes White Frog - Green with light green Green Frog - green with chart
you know, nothing wrong with seven men who met on the internet going for a swim together
