Well for me this would not suck. I would not keep it anyways. Like said before I would take pics and mesurments than get the replica.

Take measurments and still get a mount done. +2, kinda makes you wonder though if slot limits lead to more proliferation of fish like this. There are probably alot of overs that are kept and as a result never get to reproduce again but that fish might never be a keeper and will continue to spawn until it dies.

Nice fish and she gets to spawn at home again. I personally take a 24" board to Fork myself I dont want to have to guess if its close.

I have been "that guy" in a tournament with some pretty good money on the line... She went almost 9.5lbs and was 23 7/8" long on both sides. It does indeed sukk big time!

I know that feeling, i caught a 11.8 during a media tournament and we had to pinch and sweep her tail just to make it touch 24". When my partner was measuring her and said she wasnt going to make it i almost fell out of the boat
