Hey guys, check out this link to Bassmaster.com.

It is a 3-Part instructional video on the how-to's of spoon fishing.

Texas-based Nichols Lures Inc. owner David Nichols, and Lake Fork Fishing guide Rick Loomis show the proper gear and lures for this technique of fishing.

This is actually a good video. I remeber talking to Dave back in the beginning of the Spoon craze. Im glad he got it locked down and is doing good with them.

Rut, I also searched for a good while for part two...finally got frustrated and called the Nichols store...seems that they plan on releasing Part II and III later, maybe a couple of weeks.

Yeah, Bassmaster.com is going to release them one at a time.

Guess they don't want to bog down their site with all the info at once.

So when exactly did these spoons get "locked down"... I'm curios to know when these spoons were on the market and available to the public.

thx

Why is this a "new idea" ? Jigging spoons for Bass has been around for many many years. I guess its just becoming popular again. Although jigging spoons were much smaller and heavier than these appear. These are more of a trout/salmon spoon like a Northern King
or Diamond king by Luhr Jensen. Hey whatever works, Im all for it.

Give a man a fish, he will eat it and go back to work. Teach a man to fish and he will fish all day.
