man if your dad is getting up in years, yall should go target reds and specks out of hackberry. don't worry about going to venice for the bluewater, that would probably be a bit much for him. do a google for hackberry rod & gun, they are just this side of lake charles, south of vinton / sulphur area.

they will put you on the fish.
