I fished Weatherford today. I say fished cause I didnt catch! I launched at 7:30, and started looking for surface action. I didnt find any,none, nota, zip. There was not 1 dang fish breaking water anywhere. I did the obvious, and threw out my go-to baits and proceeded to troll ( because that always works). And I trolled. And trolled.And trolled. Nothing. So I grabbed my slab stick and started slabing ( I marked tons of fish off a point, they had to be feeding). Nope, not eating slabs. So I trolled some more. One small school felt sorry for me and srface right under my boat. I pulled 3 fish from this school. Its on now! They are going to bite the rest of the morning. Nope. Thats it, this was the only 3 fish feeding anywhere. I managed 1 more fish casting on a point. So guess whats for dinner? You gessed it. Im taking Momma out to the DQ for steak fingers. This is the worst day I have ever had in my boat. I think its broke. I fished in my buddys boat Saturday, so maybe shes jealous? What ever it is, I hope that its all better by Tuesday. Now for the good news. My hope for today was to not find any yellow bass on Weatherford. And I was successful. I didnt find them. And my new seats that I installed Saturday were great! No more benches.

Man that does stink! I hear the only way to get the smell off is to soak it In a lake for a morning for an evening while looking for more fish!

It's that time of the year,but it will change shortly.

Do you think the whites will bite in the winter? I normaly switch to cats and crappie for winter. Whats the winter action like? As good as summer? Maybe I wont change this year.

put some shad under your seat and leave it there for a week or so, then you wont notice the skunk smell anymore!

Bikeman oct is one of the best months for sandbass,it has not started yet. It is really good through novemeber on EM. This year has been weird.

I wish I had been! I cant beleive this happened in mine. I punnished it today bu not takig it out. By next weekend she should be back to normal.
