It's kind of far but, as a man I can stomach the Ant Street Inn in Brenham.

Beckman Inn in San Antonio, just a couple blocks from the river walk and a stone throw away from the Pioneer flour mill

Call this place in Fredericksburg. We stayed there awhile back and had a thouroughly enjoyable visit. Good people, good food and close to downtown. They have a website also.

Jumping in

May look into all these. Kinda late though. Today is my wife and my 26th honeymoon anniversary. (We haven't gotten to the marriage part yet). Still hard to believe it's been 26 years since I said "I do" ~ ~ ~ "I did" ~ ~ ~ "I have" ~ ~ ~ and "I still do".

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10
