heard from my pappy back home that he's out fishing again and had been disappointed with lynn creek marina the last two weekends. couldn't seem to catch a thing until he looked at a young couple next to him and noticed they had a bucket full of them. ALL under five inches. he gave up fishing years ago because all of his old fishing spots were being taken over by people keeping lil' fish like this and destroying all those old fishing spots that his dad taught him growing up. gave away the boat too! use to grow up going to joe pool and moutain creek lake catching tons of crappie over ten. even remembers when it was just a bunch of creeks. use to go the channel at mountain creek lake and catch tons of four five pound catfish. now he's been stuck watching fishing shows every weekend because he's tired of being disappointed in people. it's kind of depressing that this stuff is still going on. soon as i heard about it i wanted to call the wardens up in texas and start yelling at them. was the last two weekends a fluke or is there no chance of him catching something dinner worthy out there?
