Was wondering which to go to on sat. Anyone know how the ramps are at fairfield do not want to take a chance on scratching new boat on the rock there. How has athens been any tips thanks

I would suggest Athens. I have seen many post saying that Fairfield was low. You can also go to Texas Parks and Wildlifes website and check the current conditions and reports.

I don't know about Athens, but Fairfield is VERY low. I was out there last week. One ramp was closed. You need a four wheel drive to launch from the other one. Ramp edge is out of the water!

athens it is any tips on catching. I could use the help. Are they up shallow yet thanks I am taking the wife and would like for her to catch fish (bass} I will be in a black and yellow skeeter say hi if ya see me.

What time are you going to be out there? Sun up?

If they are up shallow, Traps and Dropshot, if it stays cloudy, Yellow Magic. Maybe some flukes as well.

With the cold front having moved in I have a feeling they will either be holding heavy on structure like docks and brush.
