The forcast Saturday says wind 5 to 10...cloudy early morning clearing later temps 60s to 70s. Do ya'll think the crappie will be biting any better a t Lavon this Saturday after all this rain and wind out of the north? If so this Christian Grandpa fish is ready to get my little ole 1973 fiberglass 14' Kenner boat out I restored and painted this spring. That is providing I can find a good fishing partner to go with me and help out with expenses. It's 5'6" wide with 1998 40 hp Mercury. Its made kinda like the old stick steering bass boats but has more room with 2 swivel seats, trolling motor and huge livewell. That's so I don't run out of room for da fish. cheers

By good fish partner I mean you don't drink sick cus God ain't tooooo happy with drunks and I don't care for puke in my boat, don't cuss "God don't like that either and cus my ears is tender, don't smoke cause God has a non smoking and smoking section in eternity but I don't have a smoking section in my boat laugh and I also like me without a hook crying in my ear-lobe.

If you are that man we'll get along just fine. breakdance

I've told my cheers friends about this post offering a back seat and we all got a real good laugh rolfmao out of it.

To think I got 153 viewers, not one reply and scared wink everybody away.

Fishermen are some of the nicest clap folks I know. Maybe that one of the reasons Jesus called a fish fisherman named Peter to be His disciple.

I would be honored to fish will a fellow Christian, But I cant make my schedule coincide with yours. I wish you chased whites at Grapevine. I cant find anyone who fishes there in the evening, and I dont want to drag my boat 100 miles to work.

Hey Bikeman, thank you for the thought. Maybe on a 3 day weekend we could go. Hopefully this winter I can find a nice used Boston Whaler. My little Kenner boat is fine as long as the wind is not too high. I would like to have something that would handle the chop a little better so I could can catch some stripers.

Hi

I think that I meet all of your requirements, but I have the grandchildren coming on Saturday. I am retired. I do not fish Sundays. I am a conservative Bible student of Mormon stock. I live in Waxahachie, so I have about an hour's travel to reach you. I have an older 15' runabout with a 65 Evinrude and a 10hp Scott for good measure. I have a fish finder, bit it does not catch fish. I go fishing, but I usually have the same luck as my fish finder. Regardless, I do know how to shoot docks for crappie and do catch crappie under dock, if they are hitting. I have fished Waxahachie, Bardwell, and Cedar Creek Lakes. Greetings from Eldon

"Freedom" is not free. Many men died to bring freedom to you and to me. Some of them sang: "...Christ was born across the sea with a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me. Entitlement programs are not free. Someone did the work for you and for me.

Hey DFW Fisherman,

Your violin preaching to the choir. A lot of folks are short on change. However gas and bait cost money. That's why I said I needed someone to SHARE EXPENSES so .....I .....don't run short on changesick.

Besides that I've got a wife and she trusts me not spend more money than I should. I trust her as well. That's why we don't run outta pocket change and have stayed married wink 42 years.
