That first one looks like most of the people I see on Lake Fork. NOW THAT's FUNNY RIGHT THERE!!!

My boat rips. I get about 36mph on a flat calm day.

It was my cousins, got killed in an accident in it in 2005. Hit something in the water and it slung him forward and he hit his head on the steering wheel and broke his neck. Boat came out alright. Was left to me.    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v307/b...nt=113_1384.flvvideo of it idling

My boat rips. I get about 36mph on a flat calm day. If we raced you would beat me by about 2 mph.

Those suckers are awesome...Speed boats are pretty useless, but these things are tight. I never new boats had roll cages LOL.

well i tell you what mines not very fast, about 72mph or so, does anyone think it shoud be faster than that skeeterzx250 with a 300 yamaha 2005

i ran a zx250 with a 250hpdi and 27p prop to 72.
your 300 may have a bit more in it. not much though. seems to me the 300 hpdi's are just a bit of a let down on power.
now, if you let wayne worthy at hydro tec work on that motor, then you will have an 80mph boat.

I get 45 MPH on gps with two folks. Not bad for a 125.

Got to about 68 GPS with 3 people in mine, one of them being a fat kid (me! lol )
With just two people:
74GPS @ 5500 RPM or so, 250 Optimax ProXS Racing edition, 21X2 Triton
At least I think it said 74! When I hit 74 it started walking all over and being so new to it, I didn't at the time know how to control it so I just backed it off.
I'm not gonna lie, I haven't pushed it that hard since because I honestly am never in that big of a hurry. And the pucker factor increased dramatically when it got that loose.
